Hayes County Community Foundation is an affiliate of the Nebraska Community Foundation. The Community Foundation has been a part of Hayes County for over 25 years. Recent contributions to the community of Hayes Center include: funds for new chairs at the Senior Center, new Village Christmas lights, playground equipment and college scholarships. The Community Foundation consists of eight volunteer advisory board members, all of whom are residents of Hayes County, and operates solely on donations and fundraisers.
