Movie theaters, shopping, plays, and more are only an hour drive away or less. Summertime swimming is available within 15 miles, at either a lake or a swimming pool. Many activities are held in both the newly remodeled American Legion building and the Community Building at the fairgrounds in Hayes Center. An excellent roping arena located at the north edge of town also brings hundreds of horsemen and ropers to our door every summer. Hayes Center is small, but it has plenty to offer with room for expansion and new business. We welcome you to come and “check us out.”
